The adidas Samba Classic is an awesome indoor soccer shoe that truly is a “classic.” Affectionately called the “Samba”, this is the legendary training shoe, with classic styling, is worn around the world by men, women and kids. Contructed of soft, full grain leather upper and a gum rubber sole this is as much an indoor shoe as it is a leisure shoe. We love the updated white/black version of the shoe, which provides a fresh look to an old standby.

We recommend this shoe for indoor soccer as well as dry artificial turf.

These are great shoes. I love the feel and they give a great touch. The laces were a little long in mine and I tripped on them once and a while, but that had an easy solution. I’ve played countless hours in these and they’ve held up pretty darn good. Good look and even better tradition. Style

There isn’t a ton of flash on this indoor shoe, but it’s called a Classic for a reason. You don’t mess with Classic style. adidas has introduced this shoe in a white/black version. We love the new white version as it creates such a unique view of an old classic.

Durability

The Samba is legendary for its durability. We’re certain there are some coaches out there that proudly proclaim the Samba as their “original” coaching shoe…from fifteen years ago. Yes, they’re that durable. Breakdowns on this shoe rarely occur, but when it does, it is normally the separation of the upper from the sole of the shoe on the dominant kicking foot. We’ve also seen the gum rubber sole split at the midfoot from overuse.

Performance

Features a Full-grain leather upper, which results in a nice “touch and feel” out on the field. The full grain leather will also stand up to indoor and leisure performance with many coaches sporting these babies on the sidelines. The three-profile Gum Rubber outsole provides adequate traction on indoor and dry turf. We don’t recommend using these on turf fields that are even just a little bit wet. You’ll turn into Apolo Anton Ono in a second. The full shell bumper protects the leather for those players that scrape their foot against the turf when playing. The “floppy” synthetic rubber tongue has been a favorite of players for years. Unlike the Samba K version, the tongue is non-folding.
