The PUMA v1.10 i soccer cleat is a new cleat that is designed to be lightweight as well as offering a fast looking cleat. The grip texture and a lace cover makes this the perfect shoe for any midfielder or forward on the field that likes to control the ball while heading upfield to score that all important goal. One unique feature that is shown on this new Puma cleat is the “Kinte” pattern that is inspired by African soccer, just in time for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Style
This shoe is about flash and making sure it has a unique look to it so that it stands out on the soccer field. Puma decided to add their own look with their version of the lace cover that is seen so often with Nike Mercurials and the Nike Total 90 laser. We really appreciate Puma’s efforts to make this shoe unique with their South African color design as they are trying to make this the shoe to buy as the World Cup nears.
Durability
When you have a cleat that is very lightweight, the one concern you have to worry about is durability, but Puma answers all those questions with new v1.10 cleat. The insole is thicker then previous versions and the heel is very well padded which will make this a comfortable fit each time you wear them. Another reason for this cleat lasting longer then most is the midfoot is reinforced with Thermoplastic Urethane which prevents midfoot bending and further enhances stability.
The moment I put these boots on I felt them very confortable and light. I think they have a very good grip and ball cotrol. I would strongly recommend these boots for those players who want a light weight boot that can keep up with them when making those swift moves on the field. If you want to order some I would recomend getting 1/2 size up.
Performance
At the end of the day, all that matters is the performance of the soccer cleat and the brand new Puma v1.10 I delivers.
